React the same way i didn’t say anything for a long time when someone was being that way toward me, but i relized that when i didn’t say anyting that they kept on so when i did finally say something they shut up.

  2. Sometimes, people don’t react unless you’re mean to them…I agree.
Sometimes, they don’t know they are being rude…try telling them that first. If they laugh at you, or keep doing it…then be mean!!

i pull some very large words out of my vocabulary that are not in everyday usage and confuse and insult them. they seem to know they are being insulted, but they aren’t sure and since they aren’t sure they can’t say anything because i might not be insulting them. they just don’t know. it’s funny to watch the struggle on their faces while they wonder exactly what it is that i said to them.

  4. most times it is very productive to look at them and totally ignore them..

  5. It depends. I usually try to take the high road, and ignore them or react politely, but I do occasionally snap on people.

  6. Actually, the old saying is correct. Maybe you don’t know because they hide it. They protect their image. Especially for boys (sorry!!!!) who are the protector for their image! Ha ha! But if someone rude to me, I’ll pretend that I don’t hear them. Also, I won’t say back those Pip things to them. If you do that, forever, they won’t stop. But if you do what I do (???^^@@), one day they’ll stop.
Plus, i won’t try to tell them about what they do, because sometime it’s useless. But if they over doing that, I’ll tell them that what they do is disturbing me. Once, they wouldn’t stop (sometimes), but like i said, they’ll think of it and one day… no ones rude to you..

  8. I start talking to them about Jesus Christ. If they continue to be rude then I can count it as a blessing because Jesus said:

Matthew 5:10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. :o )

  9. It depends. The most admirable reaction is to be untroubled. It shows that you are so wealthy with self-esteem that nothing bothers you. When you’re at the breaking point, then the slightest insult will bother you.

  10. IT’S KIDA LIKE WHEN YOUR BROTHER COMES HEAD FIRST AT YOU AND YOU JUST SIDE STEP A LITTLE AND LET THEM IT THE WALL AND TAKE THE CONSEQUENCES. YOU ADDRESS IT AND ASK WHY PUTTING A “MIRROR” IN FRONT OF THEM TO FACE, YOU BE NICE AB0UT IT AND LET THEM COME TO CONCLUSIONS BY DRAWING IT OUT LIKE SAYING SIR, I AM NOT SURE WHY YOU JUST CALLED ME A *(&%(^ COULD YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN THAT? BEING CALM IS THE KEY AND NOT LETTING THEM GET TO YOUR HOT BUTTONS. IF THEY MAKE YOU MAD AND YOU BLOW UP THEN YOU RETALIATE AND BECOME NO BETTER THAN THEY ARE.

  13. I agree with KT, just ignore them. I’m sure if u check the source, it’s probably not worth the words to say anything back. Keep ur head up. :)

  14. Depends on the situation, was it rudeness from ignorance or was it intentional? I try to deal with ignorance with enlightenment. I give them a different perspective and hope they evolve from their point of view that was so rude. That would be in situations when people dis minorities, gays and lesbians or comment on political or religious matters without any foundation in reality. For those who offend on purpose, I either ignore the comment or if I am in the mood, I launch a counter strike with devastating wit and wisdom. It is immature of me but I love to take down egotistical people every once and again.

  15. Depends on the situation and what they say. I will take so much and then use a very quick response of the palm to the chin. When they look up from the ground, I tell them; “You as about as stupid as they come, you have no respect for me!!! I have no respect for you!!! Would you like to see more of my Disrespect or shut your Fu*king mouth and leave me alone. I have done NOTHING to you”!!!!!
Usually, they seem to stay quite as people giggle. I call it; Acting in self defense! Usually when a person realize you will knock the crap out of them they WILL leave you alone. But, most of society now believes Verbal Abuse is OK.

  17. First of all when someone is rude to me, I (think) to myself and just ignore them, My grandmother used to say in Spanish ” Better One Crazy Person Than TWO…” and I believe the more you feed into someone that is Rude the more they will do it.. I have worked directly with a rude woman, and I responded with kindness, so when I got laid-off, she cried and was sad for me cause I had gotten laid off. She actually told me I was so nice. Don’t ever allow anyone to change YOU..don’t be like them cause then you become THEM…stay sweet…

  18. It really depends on the situation but in all cases, I give them a piece of my mind. Sometimes I take the full frontal approach and ask them outright about their behavior. You’d be surprised at how disconcerted they are at forthrightness. Other times, I’m sweet and catty at the same time and insult in a covert way using wit. At other times, I’m just dripping with sarcasm.
