How do we get rid of Honey Bees that took over my brothers house?

My brother has a 125 year old house, he’s been remodeling it and some honey-bees have found a hole on the side of the house. The area of the comb is about 5×20 feet, and is inside the wall.

Any idea of a safe method for removing the bees? Not just safe for us, but for the bees as well. Any organizations that will remove the bees? By the way whoever removes the bees, can have all the honey :)

  1. On the Move

I was told fire generally shoves off the bees..but that may be a temporary solution…try calling in a pesticide control agency..

Find a local bee keeper most of them will take the bees if you don’t want them

  3. dmv question

Call the pest control people, ask if they have a humane method to get rid of the problem.

Also, go to your local farmers market and find the honey distributor, he might be able to help and even came and take the bees for no charge. Bees are expensive, because of their honey production.

Search the phone book for Honey farmers or something of that sort.

Regardless of what you do, I don’t recommend you do it yourself it is dangerous and you don’t want them to spread in the house.
