Hive located between walls of 2-story house 2′ from roof. Been there numerous years. I’ve heard of smoking them out but what do you use. If anyone interested in the bees, I’m in Texas.
thats’ tuff. try a fogger. i don’t think they make them specifically for bees but i don’t know what else might penetrate to where the bees are to kill them. it’s a only a few bucks to try that. smoking them out generally involves FIRE and that’s not a good thing for a house
We had a professional remove a beehive from our house and it was about $100. They guarantee that the bees won’t come back for 1 year and if they do, the company will remove it for free. It was worth every penny.
Trust me on this one. You can’t. I know 2 families that have gone through this. Know it or not you have a mess on your hands. The walls need to be professionally treated and then the outside walls totaly sealed up. The bees will die in the wall and stink to no end. The smell gradually goes away. If left untreated the next phase you will have is honey leaking through the walls. Then you are in for even more espensive repairs. Good Luck/
