I am an old school fan! From the late 70 til 80′s. That was real music that is becoming a classic. I have an inblanace of either knowing the artist or the song title which is frustrating when trying to create the ulitmate party music playlist. Help me to figure out the following:
1. Song “A-E-I-O-U” sounds like they came out during the mid 80′s
2. Nasty Rock – sounds like old school break/hip hop Thought it was Planet Control, not so.
3. The Beat Goes On (not the Whispers, not Atlantic or Midnight Starr)
4. Dim Dada – who sings this (I really do not know the original title to this… But it sounds like dim-da-da, dim-doo-d00, brrrratttt, brattt, sounds like reggae blended with african rap in a bee-bop twist)
5. Herbie Hancock– please send some of his earlier titles that were composed when Axle Foley theme was created
6. Enjoy Yourself for Me–Do not know the artist

Ok, I can only help with some though.
1. A E I O U – Freeze (might have 3 eee’s)
3. The Beat Goes On – Sonny and Cher did a version of this.
5. Rockit – Herbie Hancock.
That’s all I can help with sorry.

As to point 5, Herbire Hancock did not make Axel F; that was made by an artist called Harold Faltermeyer.
The Herbie Hancock album that contains “Rockit” is called “Future Shock.” After “Future Shock” he had 2 albums called “Sound System” and “Perfect Machine” that have the same electronic fusion sound. Also, he had an early experimental electronic fusion album in 1973 called “Head Hunters.” Very different from the 80s albums, but a very interesting precursor to his more well known records.
