Backwards Beekeepers TV: The Honey Harvest

Backwards Beekeeping guru Kirk Anderson (aka Kirkobeeo) takes honey from two of his hives–one of which becomes very testy during the process. Then Kirk demonstrates the easy crush-and-strain method of honey extraction. This is the part of beekeeping that gets everyone the most excited.

    how much residual bee parts and stuff remained, does that add any flavor. Are you able to use the wax for anything?

    the paint cloth in the bucket that you use is not potable material I would be careful about using that.

    I think you meant to say “esculent,” not “potable.” He’s not drinking the cloth ;-)
