Well yesterday I was in the spelling bee. I was doin great, in the final round when the director asks me how to spell,
“CONVALESCE” Well I spell it right but then they buzz me out cause they said that I was supposed to spell convalent! AND finally the kid who won got mosaic and samurai! WHAT THE ****!

I installed my first package of bees yesterday, and started to panic a little when they all started flying around me. I kept my cool and finished the job, but after I got inside the house, removed my bee suit and veil, I had an anxiety attack!!
It took me a good two hours to calm down. And as it was getting darker, and I went out to check on the bees, one buzzed by my ear and I panicked again. I kept my cool, but my heart was racing!
I wonder if any other beekeepers felt this way when they started, and it gets better as you work with the bees and become more familiar with them. Or, am I just apiphobic and should give the whole enterprise up?

At the birthday party that one kid beat akeelah by placing the letters FMN (I think) onto her word beating her. What word was that? I’ve forgotten it now, but when I looked it up yesterday, there were no online dictionaries that could define it for me. Throughout the rest of the movie I kept thinking to myself “That wasn’t a real word!” I don’t think it even had any vowels.

It wasn’t poison ivy. But i was in the woods yesterday and a plant with leaves that had lots of sharp little prickers on the edges brushed against my hand. It felt like a bee sting. My hand got welts where the leaves touched. The welts are gone buy my hand still kind of tingles.
