OJ Blount shows his top bar beehive using lime for pest control with a viewing window. A follow up video narrated by his wife shows in detail how to construct a basic hive with a cleaning tray. Note that he now makes the space deeper for the cleaning tray than before. Previous videos give information on how to obtain the metal sheet with the 5/32″ holes (up to 4 from him or 18 minimum from the company he gets them from.) Thanks for wanting to help the bees!

Recorded on May 18, 2011 using a Flip Video camera. Second installation. Queen bee was dead. Steve got another queen bee later in the afternoon and put it in the hive. We realized after that we should have waited to put the bees in until we actually got the new queen.
