What does it take for someone to win the Scripps National Spelling Bee?

I mean, how do you enter, how do you prepare, how do you gain confidence, how do you find out about all these different origins and strange words, how do you win? My plan is to read/listen the entire Webster’s Third (or Fourth, if it comes out by then) New International Dictionary, Unabridged at five times a page and five times a word. Training through weekends (if nothing’s happening), breaks, summer, whatever it takes to to know the words. I also want to find out about all these etymologies and how the are words spelled (You know greek with AEs in them and Italian with SCs in them). So how do I do it?

Why would a God who created everything decide to create evil?

It doesn’t make sense. If God created everything, he created sin, bee stings, monkeys with swollen butts, Downs Syndrome, cleft pallette, the New York Yankees, snake bites, poison ivy, cocaine, heroin, gas pains, ear aches, body odor, sweat, headaches, animals violently eating other animals, drowning, horny toads, Kenny G, blindness, scorpions, etc.

Don’t give that ‘original sin did it all’ crap. If God made everything, he made the bad stuff too.
