I’m hoping to move later this year and would like to keep bees.
I also want to make sure the bees will not not be a problem for neighbours, I know some people either don’t like them or have a phobia.
Also how far do bees travel in search of food.
Any useful advice most welcome – is one hive OK, how to get started, etc. – thanks
I am living in Denver CO, and am looking for work next year in 2007. any links to local beekeepers who are looking to hire will be greatly appricated. My experence is as follows. I started keeping bees at the age of 12,no one else in my famly has a back ground in the industry,so everything I know is self taught. I have recently gotten back into hobby beekeeping after a four year enlistment in the Army. I am 23 years old and used to doing hard physical labor in the heat. (Iraq, korea,georga,colorado,south carolina,and lousinana, to name some of the warmer places that I have been stationed)
