I’d like to become a beekeeper?

I would like to become a beekeeper. I recently followed Haagen-Dazs on Facebook who have a lot of updates about helping bees for their “help the honeybees” campaign. I don’t know how legit this is (though it makes me like buying their ice cream a lot more), but based on a Google search I did, most of the info I read said that if you really want to help bees, the best thing to do is become a beekeeper (hobbyist or otherwise). I have always loved honey and bumble bees and have no fear of them – and I normally have fear of other insects. I’d like to know more about beekeeping and how to get into it. I really would like to help them because, as an avid gardener as well, I would miss them terribly, not to mention they are vital to our ecosystem and existence. So, yeah, any starting points please?

I’m looking for a newspaper called canastota bee journal, between 1994-1997 can u help me?

I’m looking for an artical with Tom and Susan Miller they were ice fishing. There was a photo with this article. Please… My daughter would really like this artical, and I’m looking for it… Tom Miller passed away Dec 23th 2004 Thank You, Joanna Miller
