I breed exotic birds as a hobby, in the nest (box) of a pair of Toucans
a bee hive is trying to move in the box. There are hundreds of bees.
What can I do to remove or kill all the bees?

I have some bee keeping equipment, but I know nothing about bees. Do you have bee keeping experience? How could I get started? To be honest, I hate honey, but beekeeping sounds like an interesting hobby. What’s it like? Is it hard?
Ohhh! I had no idea it was so time-consuming

I’ve been considering bee keeping as a hobby, but.. the risk of africanized bees infesting my hive is kinda scary to me.
After trying to research the bee’s progress, I can’t find much information about where they’ve spread to after 2004. I read in Brazil they’ve become domesticated.. Is that also true in the states? I wouldn’t want to get attacked by my own hive.(I want to keep honeybees, not africanized ones)
Any input, please :]
