OK week 2 of my Top Bar Hive,Take a look lots of Bee’s Buzzing today Thank God it finally got warm and Sunny today We looked to see how they were doing, All looks fine and we did not get stung. You see Honey Bee’s are friendly ! We even did find the queen and she looked Happy I am on my way to becoming a Good Bee Keeper !

The Sylvia Plath Forum is pathetic, not only do they not “allow” people to suggest she has been sexually abused, they also neglect to post pictures of her father while claiming to be the “experts”. Bees without a hive!!!

First Inspection of Top Bar Hive

First Inspection of Top Bar Hive

I have installed a Langstroth Nuc and this is the first inspection after one week. I will be transitioning to natural comb but felt a Nuc was the best starting point in a more Northern climate. Also, please not banging stuff on the hive body, like I did in this video, is not recommended!

I lifted the roof off a top bar hive and found this guy lurking underneath. He seems to be looking for a place to hide, but he won’t go down between the top bars.
