how do i redo my flower beds?

I have a long, narrow flower bed along the front of my house. it has a bunch of rocks, wood chips, weeds, remnants of bushes/plants that i dug up, and dirt. all i want in the end product is white landscape rocks with larger rocks scattered here and there, the two remaining bushes that are there, and maybe a couple decorations. I hate bees and that’s why i’m getting rid of all the flowers and junk. plus it looks a mess right now. i’m going to put those nice bricks along the flower bed so it’ll look real nice. suggestions? methods? precautions? objections?

Are bees drunk or not?

When bees go a bit mental in Autumn (that’s “fall” for you Americans) it’s because they’re drunk from the rotting, therefore fermenting, flowers and not because they know they are going to die. Is this true?

I want to plant flowers, but don’t want more bees. What can I plant that won’t attract them?

I am in growing zone 5. I have small kids and I want them to be able to play outside without dodging bees. We already have bees building nests or hives around our property, so I would like to grow something that will either entice a predator of bees or will naturally repel them.
My 3 year old was stung on our deck last year, and we have no flowers in our yard currently, so they must be wasps or yellow jackets, how do you tell? To me a bee is a bee, I dont like them.

What flowers would best aid with beekeeping?

I’m going to try and keep bees if everything goes according to plan, however I am completely ignorant fo botany, so maybe you could help me out here.

The area where I’d like to keep the bees would be around 47N latitude, in central europe and I was wondering what flowers would be suitable for the climate that would work with the little guys.

It would be nice if the flowers would just take care of themselves without me doing much more than watering and if they could cover a wide area. About a hectare of land is available.

Bees that I’ll be using are called Carnolian (Apis Mellifera Carnica), if that’s any help.
