I recently moved into a new place and I want to plant some flowers around my front porch but I don’t want a bunch of bees flying around my door. I just want to add some color to the outside of my home.

we’re redoing our landscape and have always loved bee baim flowers and recently learned its really an herb.
What flowers can I plant outside that doesn’t attract stinging bees, just bumble bees??
Begonia’s attract bumble bees and I am trying to find out what other colorful annual that will be safe to plant since my boyfriend can die from a bee sting.

how do i redo my flower beds?
I have a long, narrow flower bed along the front of my house. it has a bunch of rocks, wood chips, weeds, remnants of bushes/plants that i dug up, and dirt. all i want in the end product is white landscape rocks with larger rocks scattered here and there, the two remaining bushes that are there, and maybe a couple decorations. I hate bees and that’s why i’m getting rid of all the flowers and junk. plus it looks a mess right now. i’m going to put those nice bricks along the flower bed so it’ll look real nice. suggestions? methods? precautions? objections?

Are bees drunk or not?
When bees go a bit mental in Autumn (that’s “fall” for you Americans) it’s because they’re drunk from the rotting, therefore fermenting, flowers and not because they know they are going to die. Is this true?
