Every year the bees make their home on my back deck. Either under the whole deck (which is good sized) around it, or on it, they are not picky! And at night we get bad mosquitos because we have a pool, and lots of damp areas from it. No fun in the sun or at night? I just need a flower or plant that works.

Has anyone ever seen a rose bush with multi colored flowers on it?
I have a rose bush that has one red rose with very little orange in the center, several that are yellow with orange tips and one that is pink with a very light pink center. This is all one on bush!! I’ve never seen anything like it and was wondering if this is normal. I’m not a flower person and don’t know jack about them. I took pictures because I thought “If this isn’t normal, no one will ever believe me.” And to think I thought about taking it out because I’m allergic to the bees it attracts.

how do i redo my flower beds?
I have a long, narrow flower bed along the front of my house. it has a bunch of rocks, wood chips, weeds, remnants of bushes/plants that i dug up, and dirt. all i want in the end product is white landscape rocks with larger rocks scattered here and there, the two remaining bushes that are there, and maybe a couple decorations. I hate bees and that’s why i’m getting rid of all the flowers and junk. plus it looks a mess right now. i’m going to put those nice bricks along the flower bed so it’ll look real nice. suggestions? methods? precautions? objections?
