Why has Yahoo!360 team rejected my harmless Dali blog picture?
One of my blog pictures has been denied by Yahoo!360 team (See http://www.essentialart.com/mh/Salvador_Dali_Dream_Caused_by_the_Flight_of_a_Bee.jpg). It showed Salvador Dali’s famous dream scene called “sting caused by flight of a bee” – the one with two Bengali tigers jumping towards a nude figure of a woman – one which is famous. I posted it on not because it is erotically evocative, but because it illustrated my point perfectly. How can Yahoo! censor a harmless, yet prosaic and elegant picture such as this? Surely this is Fascism! During the Second World War, Hitler banned artists like Salvador Dali from creating beautiful abstract works pervading the Third Reich, claiming they were obscene. I hope Yahoo!360beta blog site is not trying to learn from his dictatorial regime! It’s not like I get that many hits on my blog anyway and it’s not as if I have ever published anything even vaguely obscene on my blog! I expected a lot more maturity and openness from you folks at Yahoo!
