There must be a nest outside my front door in one of the bushes because all types of stinging insects fly in and out like a colony every day. It’s very warm now in Atlanta and I need to trim the hedges … but I ain’t crazy. Is there a product or home remedy I can make to kill & repell these threats ?

What will make dogs sick at their stomach?
My neighbors let their two dogs outside every day and they run over to my yard to poop. I go around once a week and gather up all the poop in a bag and then hang it on their front door. Believe it or not, they haven’t picked up the hint! So I want to leave a few little treats in the back yard that will give them the poops. It’s either that, or I’m buying a bee-bee gun. Anyone want to suggest a nice “treat”?
Thanks for your recommendations! I think I will call animal control and have them handle the situation. Although, my neighbors have white carpet and the thought of them cleaning up poop makes me tingle inside.
Why are honey bees appearing outside at night, in the dark and cold?
Today is (was) December 23. For the past week or so, I’ve been finding honey bees outside my front door after sunset. I’m in the Phoenix metro area, so it’s not freezing cold, but cool enough to kill these poor guys. I never see them during the day and I have nothing on or around my door to attract them. I thought bees didn’t fly at night, but apparently they do. Anyway, I was out on my front patio until an hour after sunset tonight – no bees. I went out about 3 hours later and there were five bees. I just went out again and there are eight. (Seven are dead.) I’ve looked at these carefully – they are normal honey bees, not ground-dwellers. Any ideas why? I’m mostly just curious, but I’d also like to eliminate them so I can go out barefoot again!

Have you ever seen a completely black ….?
I have 2 very big black “bumble bee type” out my front door. Problem is they are VERY VERY MEAN. Have come after myself and visitors while walking out the front door and today starting going after the birds.
Stingers look to be about the size of a finger nail. I have used several search engines with no luck yet. Anyone ever seen something like this?
Carpenter bees are eating my door frame! Help?
We’ve alreday killed about 6, but I can hear more in the hole. It’s right above my front door. Any suggestions on how to get them out and keep them out??
These are not ants. They are big, fat, buzzing bees. There is no water damage or rotting wood. The door frame is less than 2 years old.
