My 2 1/2 year old son & I just came back from the mall about 10 min. ago. We went down to just window shop and to get out of the house. ( It has been raining here for 3 days now!)
When we were walking around my son ask me ” drink Bee-boos” which means he wants to nurse. So I sat down and he got out of the stroller, lay in my lap and lifted up my shirt undid my nursing bra started to nurse. This is normal and he dose it all the time! About 2 min. later this woman came up to me and told me that I was sexually abusing my son and I need to stop nursing him right now or she would call the police! I told her no, I was nursing him an I wasn’t going to stop feed him. So, she got out her cell and called the police! The got out there with in 15 min. And she told them that I was abusing my son by nursing him. And demanded them to arrest me! They just smiled and said that I was in my right to do what I was doing( Nothing was showing), and they left! What are your thoughts??
I just wanted to add that when he undid my nursing bra he didn’t show the world anything, because he keeped his head and hands under my shirt. So, the most that showed was about 3″ between my shirt and jeans!
Also the woman was making a seen!! She was yelling to the top of her lungs that what I was doing was wrong. My son was thankfully happy nursing away!!! Is it that bad to nurse a 2 1/2 year old child!!! He is so healthy and happy!!
He dosen’t want to wean off yet & I am not going to make him! He will stop when he wants to!! And I nurse him on demand!
Public or in my home I will still nurse him when he wants too!!! Would you feed your child a snack in public?? Yes!!! OK!! I am feeding him!!! And we are so close to each other!!!!
In fact today we went to target to pick up some stuff and with in 2 min. of being there he put his head under my shirt and started to nurse!! And I just walked around the store getting the things we needed!! And he was done in about 20 min. Couldn’t see anything but his shape under my shirt!!!
