How do we get rid of Honey Bees that took over my brothers house?

My brother has a 125 year old house, he’s been remodeling it and some honey-bees have found a hole on the side of the house. The area of the comb is about 5×20 feet, and is inside the wall.

Any idea of a safe method for removing the bees? Not just safe for us, but for the bees as well. Any organizations that will remove the bees? By the way whoever removes the bees, can have all the honey :)

Top Bar Hive Comb Building 2

This is one week after catching this swarm. Notice the beautiful white comb, once they start filling it with brood, pollen, honey etc, it will become more yellow, and then eventually brown. They truly are busy bees.

Making straight comb

making straight comb and manipulating your top bar hive.

This is the second hive inspection on my new top bar beehive. Looks like everything is going well; 10 bars have comb on them. The queen was found on bar #7 and there are lots of larvae and capped brood. There’s even a little bit of capped honey.

www.LearningBeekeeping.com Join us on Facebook! http Horrible comb collapse. Domino effect, 18 combs crashed and fell. Texas weather was hitting 105 F. All I could do was salvage honey. All brood dead.
