We have a cat (Just got 1 year old) that loves to chase bugs… Now the summer has come, and so have the bees, which she attacks now as well.
What can happen to her if she eats a bee, or gets stung by one?

Why do they call it “cat calls and wolf whistles”?Why do we refer to them this way? Where did it all begin?

well of course i can’t now. if i recall the gist of it was that we lump some of our ‘worst’ behaviors along with animals… so you get a ‘wolf whistle’, or a person or a movie is a ‘real dog’, or someone is ‘crazy like a fox’. some positive behaviors can be ascribed too, ‘proud as a peacock’ or ‘busy as a bee’. perhaps these phrases are just an extension of the days when we assigned human characteristics to the animal world.

Thanks guys for showing back up..that guy was a new person that got offended to one of my answers I gave.. he went around to many of the people who answered him writing poor things about them..but again.. he was new..and he’ll get the gist of it soon enough
How come every time I sneeze my cat runs for her life ?
Even if I am sniffling like I am about to sneeze she does a bee line & hides under the bed or couch.
