Okay, I am in my final year at university and am required to write a business plan as a group project. Our group is basing their plan on beekeeping, well… kinda beekeeping. It’s based on a queen-bee rearing programme through a process of artificial insemination. I think we have a problem because the queen bees are the only product we are selling, at £25 each. Its impossible to write up a strategy because its so limited… Do you think that even though we are a voluntary organisation, we should still be selling other products and services? If we did there would be a lot of information from previous business plans to base it on. I feel so insecure about having a minimal strategy… if someone asked me to invest £000′s in their business so they could sell queen bees at £25/each I would laugh. But I doubt my group will listen to me

is beekeeping financially viable as a small business in the UK?
I’m interested in beekeeping as a hobby but want to know if it at least pays for itself or better still makes a bit of money. I’m looking at selling the by products as candles and soap etc. too.
Does anyone have any advice?

Beekeeping Question, for honey selling?
i currently operate 5 beehives and am looking to sell to a business or someone who would buy large quantity’s. i am always experiencing heaps of leftovers, even after selling to my neighbours.
does anyone know what to i can do to market my honey or sell more of it or any idea’s all welcome.
also if anyones willing to buy a large quantity off me and sell it for them selves, i dont care cause i need to sell it or it goes to the garbage.
appreciated

Is it necessary to workout if you go outside, and 5-6 days per week and just keep busy? Like by walking??
We have a big farm (No animals, it’s a business) and we have A LOT of work out there this year, garden, cleaning, organizing metal, mowing lawn(the one you sit on
) keeping up with beekeeping) And in late June swimming in the pond 2-3 days per week. Would this be enough physical activity? If it did this stuff 1-2(sometimes 3) hour per day, and 5-6 days per week?
Thanks!
