Perhaps motivated by a drive to prop up the bee populations decimated by colony collapse disorder, beekeeping has become popular in cities worldwide. We visit one San Francisco beekeeper who keeps her hive in a Bernal Heights backyard where she escapes once a week to check on her colony. For Alexandra Danieli, beekeeping is part meditation and part fascination with a magical world of GPS, honing pheromones and group intelligence.

because i have honeysuckels in my backyard and i dont like being around to many bees
i ment pollen
I wanted to plant a trap with some syrup or honey in a bag and then close the bag trapping them and then beat the bag with my shoe and take them out of commish. But then I got scared cause I saw their were more than two. I am thinkin their could be a hive maybe. Couple of weeks ago I tore out a tree shrub cause they were always hangin out their but now they are still hanging out by another small tree. Their is a particular black one that just hovers around right in front of my backyard and it makes me so mad cause he’s always their.
But anyway, what Can I do?? How can I get rid of them??
Later this summer, I’ll be doing a big landscaping project in my backyard and replacing grass/trees with concrete and/or brick.
