The wooden stairwell that is leading up to my apartment is infested with boring bees, hornets, yellow jackets, and wasps. Last year we literally had to take a can of hornet spray and spray them just to get in and out of the car or apartment. I have a 1 year old son and I don’t want him to get stung. I am terrified of wasps hornets etc but my husband thinks that I am overreacting because I am afraid of them but the waps built nests in the stairwell and on the side of our building near the stairwell last year and I got stung coming up the stairs. They had to come and knock down the nests but it didn’t work they just kept coming back. I don’t know what to do. I have called and left a message with the apt office and they have not returned my call yet (that was like a week ago). My hubby won’t back me if I call the office again because he says if I leave the wasps, etc alone then they won’t bother me. Well, thats just ridiculous because I got stung and I wasn’t bothering them. Please help!

What kind of Hanging plants can I put out on my porch that has limited sunlight exposure?
I am looking for 2 hanging plants to put out on my balcony at my apartment. I want ones that have easy upkeep and are pretty. I heard that impatients might be the way to go. Will that attrect many bees?
Also- I will be needing some indoor plants as well, I hear that ferns are hard to manage… I want something that will be pretty and full, and easy to manage as well. And I also have a small puppy that may eat some of the leaves if she sneaks off and gets a chance if they fall off of the plant from the shelf, so please suggest something that is not toxic to pups!

Bumble Bee Problem?
I have just recently moved (in the process of) into a new apartment. I have covered steps that you walk up through to get to my door. However I can’t exactly go because it being invaded by these huge big bumble bees. I am terrified and highly allergic to them. I believe that they may have a nest close by or something. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them??? (FYI–I have tried hornet/wasp spray and it didn’t work.
