They are absolutely everywhere and I also see them in the neighbors yard…what could they be? and will they ruin my lawn??? They don’t seem to be from ants or the like, but I think they may be some “bee”. My neighbor has carpenter bees and I’m sure we do too, but I am more concerned with my grass…and even what it will take to rid the yard of them. Is it expensive? Will it kill my grass?? ( I live in South Central PA, if that helps identify this bug more)

I’m almost positive ants are newer than wasps but are wasps older than bees? Are bees a new spin on the wasp or visa versa? Do they share a common ancestor?
